SWBPIPE is being built to work out piping layouts: how a line moves, what its supports carry, and the stresses that follow. It is free and open source. It’s a pipe stress program first. Agents are being built into it that will take the same actions you can in the model, at your direction. The program itself is being built by agents following written workflows, and its record is public.
What it isn’t, yet.
It isn’t ready for design work. Its manual lists the limits known so far, including the ones that make its results wrong today. It doesn’t check designs against any code: a design worked out in it is validated in the program your industry accepts, under your engineer’s judgement.
