An AI assistant that works
in your own folders.
You pick a folder and say what you want done. The assistant, called Help Human, helps you pin that down, reads your files, prepares drafts and checks, and saves what it produces in the folder. When an approach pays off, it becomes a workflow you can use again. It’s the first of our programs with agents in it, and the easiest place to start.
An example: the monthly update.
In the made-up project below, the assistant was asked for the September update. It read the month’s inputs, drafted the update, checked the cost totals and source links, noted what the inputs didn’t establish, and saved the update beside them. Saved as a workflow, the same job next month starts from there.
Whether to use the result is up to you.
Workflows.
A workflow is the written method for one kind of job: what to read, what to do in what order, what to check before handing the result back. Writing one is mostly a matter of describing the problem well, and the App has a role for that: Helps Humans, a design partner that works through a workflow with you and writes the instructions. The assistant follows the result; you can read it and change it like any document.
Start from one.
The App comes with about eighty, for work such as reviewing a document against its sources, preparing the inputs to an estimate, or setting up a project.
Make your own by asking.
Work a job through with the assistant, then ask it to turn what you did into a workflow. You review it before it’s added to your library.
Improve it as you go.
When something goes wrong or could be done better, change the workflow. The next run starts from the corrected method.
Take on bigger jobs.
The assistant can split a large job and hand the pieces to assistants of its own, each with its own written brief, then put the results together.
What to know before you use it.
It makes decisions as it works.
It chooses how to do each step, which files to read and which commands to run, and it can hand parts of a job to assistants of its own. It makes mistakes. Check what it produces, or have someone who knows the work check it.
By default, it edits your project without asking.
Out of the box it can change files inside the project folder without asking, and it refuses anything outside it. You can make it ask first, or keep it read only. Full access removes the limits and the prompts; use it only if you accept every action it takes.
What it reads goes to OpenAI.
Your messages, and whatever the assistant reads while it works, are sent to OpenAI under your ChatGPT account and OpenAI’s terms. Commands it runs on your Mac have no internet access unless you allow it.
Nothing goes to us.
There’s no Chirality account and no Chirality server, and the App sends nothing to us. Your documents and workflows are files in your folders; your conversations are kept by the App on your Mac.
